Prompt: The Tourist Gaze is the publication that accompanies the exhibition of the same name by artist Magnolia Soto Pérez, presented during the winter of 2025 at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, a leading institution for the dissemination of contemporary art and visual culture in the Canary Islands.

The work reflects on the effects of mass tourism and landscape degradation through generative artificial intelligence. To create the images, the artist combines her own prompts with references to iconic works from art history, mainly from the Romantic movement, generating new representations that question the way we consume and interpret the territory. The book translates this discourse into an editorial format through graphic design developed by Arce Studio, which accompanies and reinforces the conceptual approach of the publication.

At Agpograf Impressors, we produced this volume using LED UV offset printing, a technology that ensures faithful image reproduction and high-quality printing. The book features a Swiss binding with exposed black thread, a resource that highlights the structure of the publication and enhances its contemporary character. Both the cover and the 108 interior pages have been printed on Symbol Matt Plus Premium White by Fedrigoni Paper. The project is completed with painted edges, a finish that reinforces the visual identity of the volume and its presence as an editorial object.
