After the Fog, First Flowers

Casa Vicens

The exhibition After the Fog, First Flowers, co-organised by Casa Asia and Casa Vicens, brought together in Barcelona the works of 24 contemporary artists from Spain, Asia, and Latin America who engage with floral themes through painting, photography, video, installation, and more. Curated by Menene Gras Balaguer, the exhibition was held at Casa Vicens, Antoni Gaudí’s first house.

The accompanying publication, edited by Casa Vicens and Casa Asia with editorial design by Teresa Mulet, includes curatorial texts and images of the exhibited works, providing insight into the historical and contemporary context of the pieces. The volume offers a comprehensive vision of a project that unites diverse cultures and artistic disciplines.

The book comprises 320 pages bound with a visible thread sewing and features a dust jacket, all printed on Arena White Rough offset paper by Fedrigoni Paper. The printing uses LED UV offset technology, and the edition includes 200 copies in English, 200 in Spanish, and 100 in Catalan.
