Caniche Editorial promotes projects related to contemporary art with a focus on the book as a space for documentation and reflection. Within this framework, Río, by Jorge Satorre: Selection of Exhibitions and Works (2011–2025) is published, marking the occasion of the RIA exhibition held at the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M).
The volume gathers a selection of projects developed by the artist over the past fifteen years, arranged in reverse chronological order. It also includes new texts that expand the interpretation of the work. The book was carefully designed by Gabriel Pericàs, in collaboration with Jorge Satorre himself, and coordinated by Belén Benito.
The book’s interior is bound with a visible thread stitch and protected with a dust jacket with flaps. The dust jacket, printed in conventional offset on 300 g Folding D/blanc paper, features a acrylic varnish finish and a glossy PP laminate. The interior, consisting of 224 pages on 115 g glossy coated paper, was printed in LED UV offset. The combination of both printing technologies allowed each part of the project to be optimized, ensuring faithful reproduction of the artist’s works.
