Since its creation in 1998, the CARES Foundation has worked to offer job opportunities to people with disabilities and those at risk of social exclusion. Currently, it provides decent employment to more than 700 people.
To mark its 25th anniversary, the foundation has published The Story of a Sea of Opportunities, a commemorative catalogue that highlights its journey, key milestones, and the social impact achieved over the years. The design of this book was entrusted to the Singularity Agency, which has shaped an institutional editorial product that also reflects the project’s human sensitivity.
The result is a book with a strong presence and a very distinctive binding. The book features two unlined grey cardboard panels joined by a bodonienne binding. A blind embossing combined with selective UV varnish decorates the panels. The cover includes a belly band made of Rives Design Extra White paper, and the endpapers are made of Kraft Liner, both from Antalis. Inside, 180 pages of gloss-coated paper are printed in black and white using LED UV offset printing technology.
