The French artist Hélène Delprat presented The Souvenir of Lost Battles at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, in an exhibition that combines painting, sculpture, installation, video, and collage to explore themes of memory, identity, and war.
The publication edited by the Picasso Museum Foundation accompanies the exhibition, gathering the exhibited works, texts explaining the artist’s intentions, and reflections generated by the curatorial project. The book design was carried out by Studio Albert Romagosa.
The flexible book was printed using LED UV offset technology and bound in Otabind with a cover featuring full flaps. The Colorplan Ebony cover includes a silkscreen print with a Pantone on both sides and the spine, where the complexity increased due to the reduced dimensions of the logo. The 188 interior pages are printed on Munken Print White paper from Munken Paper (Arctic Paper). Two editions of the volume have been produced: one in Catalan/English with a print run of 500 copies, and another in Spanish/French also with 500 copies.
