Como Ediciones (Como Comics) is an independent publishing house based in Barcelona with a catalogue that combines new voices with personal author-driven projects, focusing on carefully crafted formats and an editorial line centred on graphic and narrative experimentation. Within this trajectory fits Último Caso, by CH. Mill, a publication that explores the codes of the pulp novel and noir comics through a highly distinctive visual approach.
The comic builds an investigation shaped by the atmosphere of B-movie film noir and the detective novels that defined the genre. With real estate speculation and the housing crisis as a backdrop, the story follows the character of CH. Mill in a narrative that combines dramatic tension, urban settings and a classic aesthetic.
For the production, HP Indigo digital printing technology is used, particularly suitable for short-run editions and high image definition. The cover, printed in four colours on 300 g semi-matte coated paper, includes single-sided glossy PP lamination. The 72 interior pages are printed in black on 120 g Pergraphica Classic Rough paper by Mondi. The volume is bound in sewn paperback binding with 12 cm flaps.
