Isaac Flores is a photographer and queer artist from Barcelona. “Herencia: Unos años de pandemia, transformismo y disidencia ibérica” is the name of his second photographic book, successor of “Barcelona se muere” in 2018.
The book takes folklore as its central axis, mainly Andalusian, mixed with the drag, non-binary, trans, transvestite and dissident explosion that Spain has experienced in recent years.
A personal and artistic testimony, with the participation of more than 50 artists born in different parts of the Peninsula and beyond, which shows a subversive reality of the photographer himself. All this, under the shadow of a pandemic, as most of the photographs were taken between 2020 and 2021.
This hardcover binding photobook has been printed using UV LED technology using semi-matt coated papers for the cover, the inside and the endpapers.
