Better Together: (33) Documents Of Contemporary Australian Architecture & Their Associated Short Stories

Uro Publications

Today’s architectural production includes a myriad of documents that challenge the traditional conventions of the profession. The book Better Together: (33) Documents Of Contemporary Australian Architecture & Their Associated Short Stories examines 33 artefacts surrounding the design and construction of contemporary Australian buildings.

The definition of architectural documents discussed in the book is broad and goes beyond working drawings and plans to also examine contracts, correspondence, models, photographs and other formats that address the unique processes of modern architectural production.

Originally presented as an exhibition at Monash University’s MADA gallery, this cross-section of the work of Australian architects highlights the best and most innovative in the field.

The book, published by Uro Publications, features 5 different cover models with photographs inserted in passepartout and embossing, and has been printed in UV LED on gloss coated paper on the cover and, inside, on Fedrigoni’s Arena Natural Smooth paper.
