The Centre Excursionista Montserrat (CEM) celebrates 100 years since its foundation (1922-2022). To mark the centenary, the organization aims to compile the memory of its mountain and outdoor activities in a commemorative book. A book that chronicles the history of the Montserrat Hiking Club, written mainly by Francesc Roma i Casanovas, a historian specializing in the country’s hiking movement.

Centre Excursionista Montserrat: 100 Years of Emotions tells the story of the organization, the result of its author’s research. The book is complemented by a photographic collection of the most significant moments and testimonies of key experiences and events from the organization’s recent era.

Ignasi Torras is responsible for the design and editorial production of the publication, while Oficina 200BIS manages the project. The book’s printing combines digital offset technology, using our HP Indigo, with conventional offset printing. It is bound in a sewn hardcover, with the cover laminated with a semi-matte coated finish and anti-scuff PP on one side. The book consists of 280 pages, and the endpapers are made from Coral Book White paper by Torras Papel.
