The soul of the best blonde still resides today, more than 200 years later, in two cities in the North of France:\u00a0Calais<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Caudry<\/strong>\u00a0are synonymous with\u00a0Dentelle<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On the initiative of the\u00a0F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise des Dentelles<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0dentelliers\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>of Calais-Caudry<\/strong>, and under the direction of the good work of\u00a0Lienart Editions<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0de Paris, and with the support of the\u00a0Fondation Bettencourt Schueller<\/strong><\/a> it has been a pleasure to participate in the board of graphic production, printing, and binding of this magnificent project of which we explain each technical detail and some photography resources that we think should be highlighted because it has helped to achieve a very high level of excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]Technical details of the graphic production to highlight<\/strong><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]The\u00a0photomechanics and retouching<\/strong>\u00a0of all the images have been carried out in the company of our group,\u00a0Les Cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons Artisans de l\u2019Image de Paris<\/strong><\/a>. They have used, in all the images, the specific profiles\u00a0FOGRA 39L<\/strong>\u00a0adapted to the\u00a0UV LED technology<\/strong>\u00a0of our\u00a0Speedmaster Heidelberg UV LED of 8 colors<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The blonde is a delicate and very subtle fabric, and there was the risk that printing in conventional plots would cause\u00a0moir\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0in some images, so it was decided to use a\u00a0stochastic plot of 20 microns<\/strong> to avoid this problem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Painted edges in blue aniline<\/strong>. This technique brings creative added value to the project. The contrast with the white of the paper and the delicacy of the cover had to be combined with a powerful visual impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Both, the cover of the book and the box, have combined a\u00a0dry relief (debossing)<\/strong>\u00a0accompanied by a\u00a0Kurz Colorit blue hot foil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]A\u00a0box with window<\/strong>\u00a0has been made for the placement of a blonde specifically made by each of the eight\u00a0Dentelliers<\/em>\u00a0who have participated in the project.
