The Gremi de Restauraci\u00f3 de Barcelona<\/strong>\u00a0presents Barcelona, city of terraces<\/em><\/strong>, a photographic collection showcasing the terraces of Barcelona. With 228 pages, the book combines the work of photographer Mariano Herrera<\/strong> with text that illustrates how these spaces have become an essential part of urban life.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThis book brings to a close the story that began during the pandemic. From that nightmare came something positive. On one hand, more than a thousand terraces that have now become permanent, and on the other, a habit of terrace-living \u2014 a true passion for terraces and for everything they represent in our culture. Long live terraces.\u201d \u2013 <\/em>Isidre Giron\u00e8s,<\/strong> First Vice President of the Barcelona Restaurant Guild.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The project involved contributions from Roger Pallarols<\/strong> and Vicent Llorca<\/strong>, and was designed by Extra Estudio<\/strong>. For its production, LED UV offset printing<\/strong> technology was used, along with Otabind binding<\/strong>, which allows the book to open completely flat. A gloss-laminated band<\/strong> serves as a dust jacket, while the cover features a matte anti-scratch lamination<\/strong>. The book uses a mix of paper types: semi-matte coated paper in various weights and Arena White Rough offset paper from Fedrigoni Paper<\/strong> for specific sections. Finally, it is decorated with yellow painted edges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
